I have no problem with the guests. I don't really listen to any of them but It's kinda like they are paying their respects at the alter of the rock gods.

man, everyone is paying thru the nose on this tour...

What the Stones are trying to do by inviting this disparate array of guests is trying to win new audiences. Sorry if that's a cynical judgement but I think that if you're going to invite a guest they should have some kind of equal entertainment status. Carrie Underwood, no matter how good she may be, does not have that.

Carrie's harmless, pretty well regarded in the biz. She duets with Steven on the dreadful new Aerosmith album.

I'm also from Europe and know her. She's alright, nothing wrong with her.
I won't bash her, got nothing against countrypop, but most stonesfans only want blind 80 year old one-armed mississippi delta blues guitar slingers as guests.

She makes me have serious wood. If she came out in hot pants and a small top Jagger's head would explode.

She'd do great on Wild Horses...as long as its not a duet with Mick.
She's got powerhouse vocals...

you're not paying attention to how this tour is evolving. based on the most recent guest appearance i think it's clear we can expect carrie underwood to add some prodigious guitar work to sway and can't you hear me knocking. gonna be awesome.

How is Mick gonna dry hump her leg if she's holding a guitar?
I can't see it in my head...

it's for these very kind of things that the stones charge $600. where else can you see something like that???
