What if just before Happy Hour, they dropped the price of the beers down to $250?
A real conundrum then eh?!
I like this analogy. But do you say "screw those guys,I'm not paying $600 for a beer" and never go back? Or do you go back to the bar day after day after week after month to tell all the patrons what a miserly bastard the owner is. And if someone asks why you still go there if you hate it so much would it make sense to say "because this used to be The Greatest Bar In The World"?
Some people are impressed by nothing.

Oh BS... you are probably just holding back information... again.
Because many of the songs were new or fairly new and the band was in it's prime.
Plus, they actually enjoyed performing with one another as compared to today where they are just going through the motions for the money. Why do you think the set lists are so boring and predictable? Keith and Brenda hate each other, and Keith's book was the final nail in the coffin. They are only doing this because they can't do anything else.
Brenda sounds bored, and the guitarists sound very tired. And this is only the beginning. I hope somebody comes up with some elixir or by the time Philly rolls around Grace Slick's statements are gonna be ringing very true.
In fact from what I've heard so far, I think Grace may have been right and this tour it has finally caught up with them.
If I could afford to go, I wouldn't be on here........(poke poke)

Ticket prices, stale setlists and too many side men. VL made worthy attempts, hell, on the NS tour, much of the show was 5 piece. Honestly, if rarities are only for the hardcore........how many casual fans are forking out 250-3000$?????

Ok, I do have one complaint, what exactly is the point of this stupid NASCAR AllStar race tonight? I mean, if 20 cars, half the players, are in it, are they saying half of them are All Stars... thats doesnt sound very ALLLSTARRY and wtf?
And why no points? What fun is that for the NASCAR game players.... and happening only 1/4 the way into the season?? WTF? I dont get it. It sucks. It should be a regular race.

If our "bitching" points weren't true, that would be different. When you spend 30+ years being a loyal completest, things like 40 Licks, Grrr and the ticket prices are a pretty hardcore screwing. Maybe they feel they can no longer be relevant, and the only way they can make money is by gouging the hardcore loyal. Well, for the money I have spent........I think I can be honest. Don't get me wrong, if they would hit Cleveland or Pittsburgh, like a lemming, I will go, but part of my anger is they are ignoring a pretty large part of the country. I love my wife, but I bitch at her!
