Did you get them right when they went on sale? All I saw was $150 or above.
The link was posted ONLY on rollingstones.com/tickets. They told everyone about the link on facebook and twitter. This was great because the general public would just look on ticketmaster, the fans are connected on twitter/facebook/iorr.
I got tickets to three nights in Chicago, threw the 3rd pair back (no charge for refund), and will be going to the first two gigs in Chicago. Very pumped!

There goes the theory that they will release more $85 dollar tickets when they see how many of the list price tickets go unsold.... I wonder if they will just dump a lot of comp'd tickets at the last minute. Such a bummer to realize that these shows are going to be filled with people who have only a cursory interet in the Stones and are there just because their lawyer or someone else schmoozing them expensed the tickets and gave them away.

Our International Fraternity and dedication to our band has ensured that we can benefit because of our rabid pursuit of the band.
Kudos to ALFONZ! and Statman!!!
Your response seems like you are taking offense to my post but rest assured there is joy worldwide for this stoke of Stonesian good fortune!!!
There some inference that you are peeved??
Can't understand why this could be the case.

Truly we are blessed!
I bought a ticket to the first Anaheim show for $480 knowing that was the limit to my attendance this tour! But,thanks to our support groups I will now go to 3 shows.
This would have been impossible without scoring the $85s.
If you are able to attend this Leg of the Tour, I hope that you too tasted success as well!
Fraternally,

To many, a purchase over $300 (maybe even $200) is a lot. Yeah, anyone CAN go. But for those prices, except to the extremely rich where money is no object, I'm sure it'll be given a consideration by fans. No one thinks fans are poor, but for that money everyone in this situation will lose alot of money going. Its a combination of no one having this much money not to care about the price, and then the fact that just on the Stones part is totally wrong.Quote

May I ask the question? What makes everyone think that all Rolling Stones fans are poor? No real fans will be able to go because the tickets are too much. Yeah the are too much but I'm tired of this pre-conceived notion that real fans can't go because its too much.

I do hope that the $85 tix do not go to scalpers, but letting one person buy up to 8 tickets in seperate groups of 2 is open to abuse.
How does it work if the person paying has 7 other tix to get into the gig?
Can he bring in 7 friends/family?
In my mind a limit of 2 per person is fairer.
