13th T2 tix arrived safe last weekend. status on BST account said it was shipped on 24th, arrived on 29th in tokyo.

WTF, it takes them 5 days to get to Tokyo, but they don'tmake it to Southgermany in ten days...

Or to Norway, for that matter! It is Europe, after all....it is so strange, I am wondering why there is a difference.

My tickets were shipped on 24th according to the BST web and I still waiting in Barcelona ...maybe because we are near to Africa ...XD

Having studied the photos a little more, I'm now 98% sure Photo 2 is the wheelchair platform plus disabled-standing area.
Thanks again, moralinsanity

PS Just for the record, I'm a she-sssoul :E

Agreed....the original plan has Tier 1 Stage right and Tier 2 behind it (i.e. to the Left of the Stage if you're standing in front of it), which makes sense with the Tier 1 & 2 entrances at the South End, to the Right of the Unwind Bar Entrance.

Satisfied since 1976

I'm at the airport. No clue where to go when I get to London Friday (Heathrow doesn't count). North entrance? South? Before 1 p.m.? Until 9 p.m.?

No tickets. I give up, and will be settling for the box office on Saturday...

I posted earlier to say i went there today, you go to the north west side of the area in Hyde park, towards marble Arch, go to the fence and ask a security guy to let you in, the desks are just nearby.

It depends what kind of tickets you're collecting.
With Silly Bar: South entrance, 10AM to 6PM is what Barclay's been saying.
If Sans Silly Bar: The latest version is I think the north entrance 9:30AM to 9PM.
But don't hurt me if they change or disavow that before you get there ...

Really looking forward to this. Don't know whether to get there early or just get there later and be at the back, none of the support acts appeal to me.

I'm hoping its wrong but Hyde Park does have a really early curfew, Pearl Jam played a shorter set than they usually do when I saw them there in 2010.

Curfew is 2230, definitely. (I was at the Springsteen fiasco last year.)

1. They gave tier 1 & 2 ticket holders places they didn't want
2. They can't deliver the tickets
3. Stones play 90 minutes set. About 60 minutes less than their other shows.

Are they laughing at/with us?

Well, but they've been bragging on their FB page that they've moved the stage: [www.facebook.com] :
"We're working with the world's leading sound engineers. As a result we've moved the Great Oak Stage
to a different location to previous Hyde Park events. This means you’ll get the full experience of the bands you love,
whilst we protect the surrounding areas"

So in AEG-speak, does "the full experience" mean "a shorter set than at any of the other shows"?

Moving the stage allegedly allows them to turn up the volume. A bit. From a whisper to a murmur, like.

FUN FACT:

Percy Byshe Shelley (the poet who wrote Adonais, the poem Mick was quoting at the original Hyde Park in 1969) had a first wife named Harriet who was depressed after Shelley ran off with Mary Godwin (who wrote Frankenstein) and so drowned herself in the serpentine lake at hyde park in 1816 not far from the original stage.

You are not alone, I will be there too! We will have to make a pre-show party out of it then... ;-) Definitely will be there when it opens!

And the Stones are just going to play a 90 min set? Are you kidding me?

So that map is different again and a different entrance for tiers 1 and 2. Half the Tier 1 area is level with or behind the stage! I guess we have to allow for a poor diagram and it won't actually be like that!
