So fkn nice of them to cater to the entire West coast state of California, while ignoring the rest of the country. Oh well... their call... and it is what it is.

If the inner circle is $665, and the rest (majority) of the seats are $171, then that is GOOD news. It means we can afford to go!

Thanks, well edited, sounds like they were actually together...ah no.

Mick said they were taking the summer off (after Glastonbury, err...) and then "maybe for the autumn"!

The bargain of the Summer has got to be anyone with a Glastonbury ticket for the whole festival.

About £250 I think.
If I was 30 years younger I would be there. winking smiley

Not even the price of a half decent ticket for The Stones In U.S.A.

Sadly, this is not the case. It's merely the price range. There will be other price points in between those two extremes, and you can bet there will very few of those $171 tickets available. Actually, in Chicago, the nosebleeds are $198.

I am updating the first post of this thread from time to time, while I am working on separate 2013 tour dates pages. There will be more shows, and there will be anouter Hyde Park show, but the first one need to sell out fast first, goes for the big US & Canada cities too, like Philadelphia, Chicago, Toronto.

Gotta figure The Joint in L.A. is the front runner for the warm-up show.

They will sell out in 7 seconds, or whatever, but only because ticket brokers will have snatched up all the tickets. So what does that mean, exactly? Would the Stones consider those shows to be "sold out" and add more shows, even though the ticket brokers still have thousands of unsold tickets on their hands?

This was also my concern, but who will take the risk?? The fans or the brokers sitting on their tickets and have to sell those in only some weeks.

STONES ROLL INTO LONDON!

Wednesday, April 3rd 2013 13:15

The Rolling Stones will rock Hyde Park on 6th of July.

The Stones will return to Hyde Park, the first time they have played there since the now-legendary "Stones in the Park" concert in '69, where the band performed free to over 500,000 fans.

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards took time today to speak exclusively to Planet Rock about that famous gig.

"It was our first gig with Mick Taylor; Brian Jones having just deceased himself" said Richards. "It was about breaking in a new band in front of the biggest audience we had ever played to. At the same time everyone was on a downer....it was about how to raise spirits."

"It was a difficult moment" agrees Jagger, who described the band as "fragile" at the time.

"It was a difficult gig in that way" he continued "but once we started, it all sort of came together...I think we were a bit out of tune if I remember!" he laughs. Jagger famously opened the concert by reading a short extract from Adonaïs by Percy Bysshe Shelley in tribute to Brian Jones.

Last year the Stones played a short series of gigs to celebrate their 50thanniversary, and there has been much speculation since about what their live schedule for 2013 will be.

"We don't talk about this much between us, but there was an agreement of 'this must continue.'" concluded Richards. "So here we are, and we're gonna lay it on you again!"

The Stones gig in Hyde park is part of the Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park series. Tickets go on sale Friday 5 April at 9am.

Nicky Horne will replay the interview tonight between 6-9PM

If Boston and Philly sell out quickly, one would expect at least one NYC date. The model in November-December 2012 was "Crappy single seats for panic buyers released first", then "Good seats on StubHub for crazy prices", then "Good seats released in drips and drabs for holdouts".

Very very few. Just enough to say that the price point actually existed.

Chicago is now officially the most wanted ticket in history. Good luck to all of us in the south!

Lol, I hear ya on that Flacnvinyl. Hopefully there will be some cities in the south that the Rolling Stones will play, I just can't see them passing on Atlanta.
