I think they should make it 'album theme night' and pick an album to do songs in order of the original studio album.

As they're building bridges to the next generation, Bridges to Babylon is the obvious choice.

Forcing us to sit through Already Over Me just to get to Miss You?

You must have meant Anybody Seen My Baby?

i live for the day when k.d. lang joins the stones on-stage for a rousing chorus of this show-stopper.

I think we all know, during the 1.5 -2.00 hour slot they will play a best of, a couple of Keith songs and a very light sprinkling of 'new' songs and unusual tracks. The atmosphere in that field as the sun descends and the smoke from the fires drifts across the Pyramid stage will be second to none. It's a tradition that bands do something 'special' for a Glasto set and I can't see Jagger wanting to miss out on this theme and go for a straight Stones list. What it will be is pretty much impossible to guess.

In 2011, U2 did the live video call to the space station which would have worked better had we not all been standing in driving rain, knee deep mud and freezing cold. Despite a heady mix of booze and pills and powders I still couldn't get into it fully.

Hopefully it will be a beautiful sunny English day and the rest will become rock n roll history in the same way as Knebworth, and Hyde Park are remembered.

1987 is a year that should be blotted from the record. surely science has advanced to a point where this is possible...

I think that is the year I saw him in concert...awful. Don't tell me I decided to check out his live act when he was at the low point in his career. I thought the low point was the 'unplugged' version of Layla in 1991ish.

Clap has had many low points in his career. You just found the same valley I did...as well as 1986, 1989, 1991 etc

Eric? Mark? Phil? who?

do you even REMEMBER anything about 1987???? EVERYBODY WAS HIDING!

Now you're going to say Let's Work was the low point in Mick's solo career. Man you just never quit do you?

I love this thread. Hope for something like this....

Start Me Up
Satisfaction
Carol
Get Off My Cloud
Let Me Down Slow
Just My Imagination
Midnight Rambler
Let It Bleed
Can't You Hear Me Knockin
Bitch
Little Queenie
Crying Waiting Hoping
She's So Cold
Sparks Will Fly
Gimme Shelter
Star Star
Jumping Jack Flash
Brown Sugar

cry, wait and hope all you want, drakester....ain't a-gonna happen

I think Drake actually got it right with "Start Me Up"...he definitely overlooked "Miss You"

the rest...well...

I hate the drake (everybody does).

I was sort of crying, waiting and hoping they would finally find their collective balls and play CS Blues...its high time for it

speaking of high times - clapton is playing that old cocker chestnut, high time we went, with paul carrack taking lead vox, on the current tour. enquiring minds were interested....

again with the Clapton
His show was less then stellar...

god'll get you for that

God'll get better in a little while

his holiness has never been better

at least better the 1987

1987 is a year that should be blotted from the record. surely science has advanced to a point where this is possible...

I think that is the year I saw him in concert...awful. Don't tell me I decided to check out his live act when he was at the low point in his career. I thought the low point was the 'unplugged' version of Layla in 1991ish.

if you saw any act in 1987, it was a low point. 1987 is one of those years that comes along once ever 1987 years or so....

So what the hell happened with Knopfler? Who was hiding?
Eric? Mark? Phil? who?

Let's Quit

I'm sharp as a tack. I remember everything about 1987.
Pearl Jam was formed. Oasis had a hit with Wonderwall.
Paul died. We landed on the moon. Light bulbs became obsolete.
Toilets were outlawed and Dogs could receive liver transplants...

You sir owe me an apology.
