Hi out there !
Came across the excistence of a german release of "Hot Rocks 2" ; from 1987, - London Records 657544, - Bertelsman Club, - where the notes says it includes "You can´t always get what you want, - version 2." Length 7.29.
Can anyone provide me with information about this ?
Thx ! !

What, somebody is wrong on the Internet ?! Guess Google still have some ways to go ;-)

Now back to the Q, no idea but it can't be too different as I'm sure it would have been spotted by now!

Presumably it's the long, LP version if the single version was released first thus being "Version 1."

It is listed like that on London discs post 1988. For example -

Let It Bleed (this one from 1988)

More Hot Rocks 2

Maybe it is just a reference to something.

According to Dieter Hoffman Recording Index.
You can´t always get what you want (take 2 4:13) was used for Rock'n'Roll Circus CD
You can´t always get what you want (take 3 2:42) was used for 25x5 Video
You can´t always get what you want II (7:29) - Most common version Let It Bleed, Hot Rocks, 40 Licks....
You can´t always get what you want IV (4:53) - Without choir and 2nd strophe used for Singles Collection - London Years.

Thanks a lot for all your response !
Must have been a practice in the late 80´s, - the Let it bleed-cover settles
the question.
Thanks Again !
