If there's no Wyman or Taylor, I'm not going to get what I need.

Will it at least get you started up?

With the current lineup, the current state of the rhythm guitarist, the pointless bass player, the unimaginative setlists, and the non-participation of Wyman & Taylor, and of course, time running out, I can't see what there is to get excited about. I noticed a real slowdown in the rest of the band in 2006 in comparison to Jagger, who is still going strong. And the PPV only confirmed this general impression. I would say the only musician who was hot among the current group was Ronnie. Look, I love the Stones. But forking over that kind of dough to hear them again doesn't start me up. I think I could be happy just waiting for a good DVD, with perhaps Wyman and Taylor as bonus features.

They could be hooked up to IVs and it wouldn't matter. We flew LA to Glasgow in 06 to see them, and the crowd was the craziest I'd ever seen anywhere

Guess then we all will know if it is Vancouver BC or Vancouver WA. most likely the first as its a much bigger place.

Does Vancouver WA even have a large arena in its city limits?

Indoor football stadium in BC

No NHL/NBA sized arena in Vancouver WA.

Rogers Arena is home of the Canucks, and doubtless the venue if Vancouver BC is on the Stones itinerary.

Good bit of Twitter buzz with the #startmeupwednesday hashtag, including a hint at another possible stop, Pittsburgh:

Keep hearing encouraging word about another icon set for a debut at @CONSOLEnergyCtr (but not related to hockey). #StartMeUpWednesday

LOVING the build-up!!

The Brooklyn show left me wanting more and now it's coming..

My wish list, for concerts I could actually attend, would include..

MGM Vegas (hopefully the rumored two shows)..
San Francisco
Seattle
Portland
Vancouver
Montreal
Toronto
MSG (two??)

I'd "settle" for half...

To me the big question is whether the announcement will include the London dates. So far it seems rather unlikely.

That's Chicago again, not NYC - the signs pointing to the Loop and to Midway are giveaways.
(Harlem, aka Harlem/Lake, is a stop on the Green Line el.)
The Roosevelt Road el stop (which this looks like, same as the first tweet) is where you'd get off to go to Soldier Field ...

I love the Rolling Stones

We all just have to wait it out, I presume next week if the tour is to start May 2nd in Vancover, Canada.

Good lord, I've saved no money up for this. Why couldn't they have warned us this was coming?!

longtime fans who have suffered mightily through the lean and fruitless years will be able to walk in for free after identifying themselves and showing their credentials. but, just to be sure, a semi-automatic weapon should be included in your provisions.

Do the "Moonwalk" backwards past the gate usually works as well.

The moonwalk backwards, is that just like walking (forwards)?

That's the beauty of it. By the time they figure out which direction you're headed you 're headed you're inside
