I'd hold Who's Next above Quadraphenia. An excellent period for both bands, actually music in general.
Who's Next is amazing, but compared to Let it Bleed, no way.

Who's Next is patchy, just like Let It Bleed.

With a gun to my head, I'd probably say Sticky Fingers, although somehow I feel it's unfair to say...
If LIB and SF were a double album, I'd probably choose that one.

Sticky Fingers is far better as an album than Let It Bleed.
I think Let It Bleed is shit as an album, but in Gimme Shelter we get one of their most powerful pieces.
Sticky Fingers is the best post Brian Jones era album, solid from beginning to end.

Let It Bleed is probably the "better" album. Gimme Shelter and You Can't Always Get What you Want are two of the greatest rock tracks in history, but then again, those first four cuts on Sticky Fingers might be my favorite four-song run ever, so I would go with Sticky Fingers.
The Let it Bleed/Sticky Fingers double album makes no sense to me. They were a completely different band by the time of Sticky Fingers, and the music is very different. Sticky Fingers is a lot closer to Exile - that would be a good triple album.

A difficult choice to make if it was necessary but LIB gets the nod and is their best LP ever, followed bt SF, Beggars and EOMS.
