Thank you, latebloomer. I'm hanging in there, definitely. The fan is working and I'm drinking lots and lots of cold water. The extremes that Toronto goes through weather-wise does amaze me. Unbearably hot in summer, whilst freezing in winter.

There was flash flooding today in ohio

First proper sunny summer in London for several years. The hot weather we've had ever since Hyde Park is getting uncomfortably sticky and just starting to break up into thunderstorms today, but it's scheduled to return later in the week

Thunder storm this morning but still warm in London. On the way to work.

In my world, every Monday through Friday from 8a-5p it's 72 degrees under flourescent skies with white puffy ceiling tiles. I can only dream about being outside in today's high of 87 low of 70 with 30% chance of thunderstorms. Seems it's only natural to wish for what we don't have... Like a weekend with TWO sunny days... Been a while since that has happened around here.

Unusally cool for August here in the DC area...it's been in 60's and 70's and overcast. I'm not really ready for autumn yet, but it is nice to have the windows open and pull out my favorite old sweater.

It's getting hot in Toronto again. It had been cooling down a little, but the heat is back with vengeance. The damn air conditioner isn't doing the job it's supposed to!
