Are the parentheses still needed for Keith's songs in the setlist?

Well, given their ages we can talk about colons - or maybe just semi colons.

Now that Keith can't play and sing anymore (as he's even admitted in "Life"), I'd much rather hear Mick sing the Keith tunes while Keith focuses on the licks...seriously.

Have you watched the videos of the 2012 gigs? I agree that before, he "couldn't" play and sing at the same time, but he has worked it out, and I'm sure it wasn't easy. As early as '93, if you watch his solo performances w/the Winos, he just forgets about the axe when it's vocals time. I'm actually more impressed with this recovery than the recovery of his playing in general.

if each Stone (or sideman) were a punctuation mark or another character on your keyboard, then which one would they be???
i'd say Chuck would be an asterick *.

Actually, in the 70s it WAS Mick singing a lot on Happy. I never minded that, since
it gave Keith the room to hammer his chords out of his guitar.

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

In 1981, Keith looked like a ten year old corpse. In 2012, he looks rejuvenated. Let him sing. Mick needs a bathroom break....

Based on Keith's vocals last night, I totally agree with you.

Keith's songs were something I always looked forward to when I went to a show - I really enjoyed them. If they sound like they did last night, I may join the masses heading for the toilets.
