As everyone has read, Newark show #1 really rocked! It was great seeing Mr. Tim Ries on both piano & sax. Another great musician & wonderful person adding to the show.

I am so pleased that MT is allowed his bow as a core member. I'd love to think that his involvement in future shows is assured from now on.

Warms the heart, doesn't it?

Also nice to see Mick and Keith next to each other Ronnie is often in the middle these days.

true. Although I did notice Mick & Keith exited to different sides of the stage.
Still, not to take away from what looks like a GREAT night.

Damn straight it does!

These shows are quickly stacking up to be the best run of concerts since the 70's! I've been very, very impressed with Keith's playing. Much stronger and wider in scope with a bunch of riffs and licks he has not done in some time.

CBII, I agree completely. I noticed that Keith is spending more time in front of Charlie (often with his back to the audience) focusing on his playing. It was something he used to do back in the day, but rarely lately.

Good to hear that. We don't need AirGuitar Posturing, just playing their best.

Damn, I wish we got this in Brooklyn. All that's missing from "Rambler" is an SG, a Bill, and a belt! Otherwise, stellar! Seeing all that interaction gave me shivers. Jersey gets Taylor, Brooklyn gets Bliged. Go figure.

I have hallmark Stones experiences embedded in my brain... Every now and then a show has left me with none, most leave one or possibly two. Last nights show's tally could be as high as 5 or 6... a truly remarkable performance that I will savor forever...what a gift they gave us.

I really think they are out to prove something and you know what, they are doing a fine job of it! Everyone seems to be ON if you know what I mean.

Ronnie? That's the one MR I haven't watched so far but I hadn't read that he was overplaying; making up for Taylor's absence perhaps?

It's amazing how this gig is turning into quite a legend. The 4th show of the miinitour..who would've thought?

I expected these gigs to be a collection of mostly embarrassing train wrecks, so glad to have my expectations shot down.

Long live The Rolling Stones!

Not really. The entrance/exit to the stage for the musicians is a single door in the middle of the video screen, behind the drum riser. They may have exited to one side or the other of the riser, but ultimately exited out through that door.

I'm dying to hear a good soundboard recording from either London 2 or Newark 1.

I can also eat crow with the best of 'em as I expected these gigs to be trainwrecks. Before these shows were even planned, I was secretly wishing that the Stones NOT go back on the road as I just could not witness them possibly embarass themselves, and I am quite happy that my expectations were shot down as well. I know there has been grumbling about warhorse setlists (as much as I would prefer rarities), my feeling has been as long as the Stones are playing well musically (and with power and passion), I personally don't mind hearing them...

Wow. They sound much better than the London shows.Or maybe it's guitars up in the mix? Keith is REALLY playing rhythm. Midnight Rambler was much more coherent. The band seemed like they were enjoying it too.

Respectable question - Will I like this alot (a fav Stones number) I recently watched the Olympia 2003 rendition of it. Yes it was 9 yrs ago, but I do like Keith's guitar on it more, sliding down the cords etc. He certainly has made gains during the last sev. years, which is great. Comments? Around and Around nice revision, slower tempo.

Among other things, Brown Sugar sounds great. Some cool licks from Keith and Ronnie.
