Unbelievably great capture from last night:

Midnight Rambler

UN BEE LEEVE ABLE !!

Jagger is the best rock/blues harmonica player ever IMO.

Must be the best MR so far. Great capture too, a mix of several?

Midnight Rambler is unbelievable great. The band truly comes alive again. nice to see the interaction between these guys, and all those smiles when the magic comes alive in the playing. Great performance by all the guys.

This is triple A rock & roll.

Was thinking the same, Mick's harmonica sounds perfect.

He is good, and his playing is much improved. But I don't think he is anywhere near as good as Magic Dick from J Geils. That being said, he should not have to be...harmonica is a side gig for him.

Listining to the Markbot audio, Miss You, playing now...just after a rather messy OMS!

Mick said he was relaxed and he does indeed sound very relaxed, a lot more than on the 25th, man was he tense during "I wanna be your Man"...funny joke about the tracksuit, then apologizing and saying he'd used it in Sheffield...when was that 1982 ? Ah no, they played there in 2006 apparently, ok.

Can't wait to get to get to Midnight Rambler.

I can also eat crow with the best of 'em as I expected these gigs to be trainwrecks. Before these shows were even planned, I was secretly wishing that the Stones NOT go back on the road as I just could not witness them possibly embarass themselves, and I am quite happy that my expectations were shot down as well.

Well said. And I'm sure many here thought that those who doubted them wouldn't show their faces again if they were proven wrong. In other words, thank you for not doing that. Eating crow properly is an art, and it's great (satisfying?) to read yours and others' posts along the same lines. Cheers smileys with beer

was wondering the same thing. I see that guy is trying to sell the whole show on youtube. How did he get ahold of those vids?
