I was listiening to the Hyde Park 69 concert last night a realized how great the "old" songs sounded live. i would like to hear other live versions of "old songs" (64-68) played from 69-present. I know I can find some on:

Hyde Park and other '69 shows
Flashpoint
LL
The Expensive Wino's at the Hollywood Palladium

Any others?

Well, on Still Life you can hear Under My Thumb, LSTNT, Time Is On My Side, Satisfaction...

Maybe I'm missing the point???

I wish they would play more songs from that time period as well. Mother's Little Helper, As Tears Go By, Heart of Stone, Play With Fire, Time Is on my side, Get Of my Cloud, Come On, Lady Jane, Have you seen.... The list goes on and on, these songs were all hits back in the day but are rarely or never played live. I know some of these have been included here and there over the years but they are not played enough. I say get songs like Tumblin Dice, Miss You and Start Me Up out of the set list and put some of these tumes in their place. Average fans would still know these tunes and hardcore fans would like to hear some different songs in the set.

I like the Get off my CLoud and the stuff on Still Life. I guess I'm looking more for bootleg versions that they may have thrown in like It's All Over Now in 73

Keith of course is completely straight

Hawaiian delight has the best version for It's all over now. (Shaved Disc)

Despite their edgy quality, I think the Paris 1965/66/67 and Honolulu 66 are cool. here songs like, Under My thumb, Get off my cloud, Satisfaction and others are played in their old arrangements and the band doesnt sound bored with them, as they would in later years (mainly post 1973).

Heart Of stone was played at the US leg of the Licks tour. A more soul-ish version though.

I always hoped that they would play Lady Jane on the current tour. I would be great to play it alternately with As tears go by

Under my Thumb circa Love you live is a killer. Especially after the jazzy intro.

Hmm, I've got got some live (not playback) stuff that they did on Ready Steady Go from 64/65. Taped them myself off the TV, haven't seen them listed on any boots & I've been searching for 40 years. Maybe there would be an interest here in that sort of stuff. The main interest I see is in post '69 stuff so I hesitate in wasting my time upping these if no-one wants them.

They rehearsed "Tell Me" in Woodstock, May 1978. Available on bootleg in excellent quality. Very nice try!
