Coventry 71 and other setlists from 71

Coventry 71 is available on DAD.
This show is the third of the tour and features only 12 songs (it seems to be complete) : JJF, LWM, DF, SCB, LIV, MR, Bitch, HTM, S°, LQ, BS and SFM.

According Melody Maker (13/03/71) the set-list for Newcastle, the premiere of the tour is :
JJF, LWM,
DF (described as a fast solid rocker called Take me down Little Suzie
SCB, LIV, + Prodigal son with Keith sitting on a stool playing acoustic
MR then CYHMK a new song fast and jumpy in the same vein as JJF.
For me, the song actually played is Bitch but...
Wild horses, "very melodic new cut"
HTW, S°, LQ
Old rocker (most probably Brown Sugar) then SFM

According the NME (13/03/71) the set-list for Manchester, 2nd show of the tour :
JJF, LWM
An obscure track from the "Flowers" collection (obviously Dead flowers)
SCB,
Blues with MT taking no less than 2 superbly constructed slide solos (LIV)
MR
WH "a slow country tune which is destined to become yet another Stones classic"
An unhibited rocker followed wich had Bobby Keyes rasping out a good fruity solo
( Bich or CYHMK ??)
HTW, S°, LQ
"Another untitled original rocker maintained the mood" (BS for sure)
SFM.

I'm surprised Dead flowers played in 1970 and BS played in London in 69 and in Europe in 70 were not known.
For CYHMK, it stays unclear if the song were played or not.
Gazza thinks it was, personnaly, i doubt it.
What do you know or what do you think?

My thinking is that it was (perhaps I'm hoping)...
There have been a few excerpts from Bill's book, plus some other hints that the song was played...

One thing is for sure, some of these shows were recorded from the soundboard so maybe one day we'll definately find out !

Incidently, this show on DIME - is it an upgrade to what is already out there???

I don't find surprising at all that BS and Dead Flowers were not known. Having in mind they hadn't been released, I suppose they would only be known for somebody having the recordings of previous performances of these songs.

[There'll be no wedding today...]

Average like most of the 1970 european tour.
Nothing exciting but a complete 1971 show.

my sources are 3 separate interviews with Keith, Bobby Keys and Bill Wyman - all of whom have said that CYHMK was played a couple of times early on the 71 tour

Thanks for reproducing those Melody Maker quotes and setlists. I'll be updating/correcting the setlists page in the next few days
