As the Stones, probably correct. Mick and Keith were on 9/11 concert in 2001 where The Who also played (and stole the show). But obviously not with the full Stones.

..probably because there's a pre-arranged schedule and sticking an extra 45 minutes in it at the eleventh hour makes a huge difference.

Unless, that is, its been known for some time that theyd play and it was just being kept under wraps.

Jagger and Richards were two of the biggest names at the 9/11 gig yet they only got two songs whereas the Who played four and were onstage for about 25 minutes. Probably because Keith just turned up at the last minute and Mick Jagger solo isnt anywhere near as big a deal as a Stones appearance.

I read about the 45 minute sets for the main acts but that was also before the last 5 acts were announced: the Stones, Chris Martin, Clapton, Eddie Vedder and Dave Grohl. The show is suppsoedly going to be 4 hours (I'm sure it will go longer) , so there can't still be many, if any, 45 minute sets left in it unless they have already decided it will be a 6 or 7 hour show.

Its a multi-act bill...you cant expect any of the acts to do a full length show. If that was the case, Bruce would be playing three and a half hours! The show would last until Christmas!

Ive no idea how long each act is playing - just reading the comments posted above which suggests the main acts are playing 45 minutes. I havent really been following it.

Its only 12.30 am here ffs!! This is early evening by my standards.

Nothing against the previous two songs but the one with Paul would be outstanding. That would be awesome!

Gazza, did you get tickets for all 3 Ireland/N Ireland Springsteen shows? I saw Teusday's night Anaheim show. It was an excellent one. I wish I could have made it out to last night's show, as well.
