good post, dan.
i do know enough about jazz to have some fun chatting with charlie.
i think a better question is which stone would most like to meet me and why?
they read this board and i'm sure you're their favorite poster.
that's easy for them to say - let's see them prove it with something tangible.
you would like a sign?
i'm looking in the texas sky now for a cloud shaped like a tongue

Let's see, meeting Ronnie could be fun, but he can't drink anymore. He might tell some good stories, but, if you read his autobiography, they might be totally full of shit. Mick would be a little intimidating, but he might surprise and be down to earth if he didn't feel he had to be on. I could talk to Charlie about Jazz and the Civil War. I would love to ask Keith a million questions, but would he answer them truthfully? Mick Taylor is still a mystery. Bill would be fun, and I'd love to get to know his 'wicked' sense of humor they all talk about. But I have to pick one? All right. Keith. The Stonesiest of the Stones.

that was cool, thanks. a real nod to the everly brothers. guy can play everything
from roots reggae to thrash, as well as about seven other instruments.
bass player/musical director multi-instrumentalist adam blackstone works for
about ten top acts but chooses to tour with rih. he started playing bass and drums
with adults at age 6 because he was that good already.
drummer chris johnson started out as a gospel singer and credits led zep among
his major influences. long list of drumming credits including stevie wonder,
seal, and patti labelle
and keyboard virtuoso Charlie Prince was raised on theolonious monk and herbie
handcock. worked with john mayer and don was recently.
these four guys are why she can tour and do shows without rehearsals. she's
gonna need every bit of their fire power if her first stadium shows in a few
months are gonna be successful (two nights at twick). she's no mick jagger yet,
or even tina turner, but its fun watching her grow into the role.
(charlie prince on performing) "I have a good time. I have fun on stage. I like
to lose myself and just be a total reflection of what I’m feeling and how I feel
about the music at that moment. So, sometimes it gets very animated…it’s always
sweat, it’s always working hard, but mostly, it’s just to have fun."
(Does Rihanna encourage that?) "Oh yeah. She encourages the rock star in everyone."

BTW, revvy, do you have some roots/reggae-clips with Nuno, where he plays with authenticity, from the soul, and not only technical? Just asking...
