The Pubs around the stadium area if they could apply for a special license to stay open until the wee hours when the likes of The Stones are in town it would certainly be a good earner for them. 11pm closing time is way to early thats about the time when everyone goes out clubbing nowadays

That law was ended in 2005.

Let us hope the practice of strict curfews at concert venues goes the same way - into the dustbin of history.
