No one claimed otherwise from day 1.

I can't see the resemblance to Goddess, though. More like Rough Justice, imo.

They all play guitars on this track, and I really love Ronnie's licks in there thumbs up

Yep. That and teh whole song being "Mick's demo" was the educated guess here, and now it is confirmed.

It is instructive - Richads said in an interview that he was furious when Mick released a solo album - because he promised not to do solo works - so Richards immediately called it shit. then he listened to it and understood - it's really shit. That has not stopped him peacefully continue to do nothing and put his name under the same Jagger's shit next time around- for the big bucks, of course.
rather repulsive character

Wonder if Woody minds that Mick stole his intro lick to "Infekshun".

Well, every Mick song can be written off as something off his solo albums.

Guess what; Mick writes the songs he does. He has done that since he started writing! You can't change that.

Keiths comments on Godess at the tile of the album, was sure to get him his portion of promotion in the media...

Proudmary is also right regarding Keith.

This is really a confirmation about the fact that Jagger and Richards can't work together any more. The only things holding them together by now are money and nostalgia.

Keith in Q around the time of the 40 Licks tour:

KEITH: "Mick can't play guitar."

Q: "But Mick plays rhythm on SWAY."

KEITH: "As I said: Mick can't play guitar."

So anyone who hates DOOM AND GLOOM (I song I love and am listening to constantly) must automatically think SWAY sucks, too.

Addendum: Keith was upstairs at Mick's Loire Valley estate for recording the ABB album, when he heard what he thought was a Muddy Waters record being played downstairs. And then he realized it was Mick playing, preparing to record BACK OF MY HAND. And Keith thought, "Mick can finally play that guitar."

Great track....Mick still has it...Now lets hope we see
a new album with Keith and Mick both working at making a great album.

Which proves that Keith has been riding off Mick's back for how many years now...?

I agree...but imagine that, Rolling Stones doing it for money? Clearly, money was always the prime motivator (I'll never believe otherwise)

Actually I still think Mick did quite well with the Superheavy album.
I play it regularly.
It's a good album.
I admit though that this last effort is less convincing.

Well... all I can say is that Keith better be sh*t hot for £400 per ticket in November.

I predict a riot.

Money for The Stones' part, nostalgia for the fans' part.

Dogshit in the Doorway. What a fantastically original phrase. Props to you.

(don't get me wrong, this song is garbage).

I hope Keith falls off the wagon and the stage too. The Stones deserve it for what they're gouging, uh, charging per ticket this time around.

Well they tried for VL with long writing sessions in Barbados and look what came out, boring tracks, for B2B they worked mostly separately and it was a lot better. For ABB Keith had nothing to offer.

And yes, it was obvious it was Mick's guitar and it works rather well, much better than Keith's Open G noodling. Sure, the riff is not superoriginal (will check out Infekshun) but I had a similar thingy with my school band 25 years ago. Still it works and the lyrics are the best he's come up with this side of SG so let's enjoy it and forget about Keith's dismissive crap.

i believe this is the first instance where bodily harm is wished for....the situation seems to be escalating with every passing day.

He's also on record saying that Mick's great rhythm player. Not sure which
quote was from the heart, but he did seem sincere when he said it, and he cited
examples.
