Are they still on the red carpet right now? Or is that "breaking news" broken and has been since?

Bill Wyman is THE bass player of the Rolling Stones.

unbelievable....a picture of the real rolling stones in 2012.the band looks like it should with the five of them in the picture.bill is freakin awesome,he just shows up after all this time and fits right in like he never left.
they are probably only gonna be doing a few shows here and there and recording occasionally from now on anyway so he definitely should start working with them again.the whole band is now moving at bill speed-slow,easy and steady rollin.

A mystery indeed that he wasn't in the official publicity shot or on stage with the rest of the band prior to the screening.
Wouldn't be surprised if it's Rolling Stones themselves, or their company, that simply thinks Taylor don't fit in with them - just by his looks. The same way Ian Stewart was hided away in the early 60s. No kidding....they are shallow enough to think that way, I believe

The content? Before anyone is reporting:
Oddly, for a film intended to mark 50 years of the group, Crossfire Hurricane treats the Stones' career as having to all intents and purposes ended as the 1970s drifted into the 80s. Richards' 1977 arrest for heroin possession in Toronto is the last significant event discussed, and the band members note how this was the period in which they went from being the group everyone hated to the one everyone loved. The last thing we see before the closing credits roll is aerial footage of the 1981 Still Life tour.
Also they understand when the actual story ended... The Vegas yaers totally neglected!><

ARE YOU SERIOUS???
I had a laugh about the film not covering past 1982 yesterday, but I assumed the last 30 years would have at least have been grazed over, even a montage, something! Do you know what this means?
25x5, made in 1989 - 23 years ago - covers MORE TIME THAN CROSSFIRE HURRICAINE!
I don't know how to feel about this; on one hand, we're missing 60 percent of their "career" or "story" (80s fallout, Bill quitting, The Vegas reboot, breaking cash-cow records). On the other hand, like you say, Doxa, the film ends when The STones ended as a REAL band - which any fan with an iota of sense must acknowledge.
In either case - way to $#!t the bed AGAIN guys! Bahahahahah!!
Man this 50th Anniversary is comedy GOLD!!!

I like at 2:37 Keith looks over at Bill and says, "He's a Rolling Stone."
