Make sure you rent a proper suit and black-tie, otherwise you wont be allowed in.

It's clear now what they meant with the monkey thing and GRRR!

It's about the ticket prices: who buys is making a monkey out of himself, and the rest is only GRRR!ing.

I'm a huge fan but I even if I were a millionair I wouldn't even consider buying tickets for 100 minutes of music.

This -again- is dissapointing.

I wish I was going, but the only realistic ticket for me, would be the 106£ ones. I think they've sold out already. Got no American Express card, no money for those high prices, no luck, no @#$%& nothing. The day of the concert I'll probably not be able to sleep. I wish, by God, that lighting strikes down on me and I win a heap of money in the lottery.

I'm sad, but realistic. Hope everyone will have a good time.

You'll have a chance of spending a few hundreds next year instead, Kent.

Provisionally booked a (cancellable!) hotel room for the 25th a couple of weeks ago as thats realistically the only show I can do.

The £150 (+ £16 charge) ticket price is my absolute limit, though.

So its either that on Level 1 or a decent nosebleed on level 4 (if theres such a thing). The jump up from £150 to £375 is outrageous. They can shove those tickets up their greedy bangles.

I dont expect too many tickets to be available at those 'lower' prices.

No such thing as a decent nosebleed seat I'm afraid - we were there in 2007, crap view, crap sound - a 2 second echo bouncing around the roof - and you can't even see the video screens!

"They can shove those tickets up their greedy bangles"

>grinning smiley< and I wonder where the self-proclaimed insider who "revealed" here that Mick insisted on keeping tix prices low is now... Having a nice cup of hemlock I guess...

Wot, Newark isn't glamorous enough for ya? Hmph.

I'd love to see the Stones in their native land but I don't have that kind of cash.

Working on it...

As I'll be travelling on a free bus pass instead of a jet plane, I think I can afford a ticket - if I can get one by Friday. No Amex card, and the offer for Stones Archive subscribers is just an early go at the Brussels Affair package - at Enormous Expense no doubt.

Anyway, the Friday lot will no doubt sell out in 0.01 microseconds, to reappear 0.02 microseconds later on Viagogo or Ebay at ten times the price.

*sigh*

Gutted, but simply can't afford those prices. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they will play Glastonbury next summer, otherwise this will be the first tour since 1976 that I've missed them. Almost certainly their last as well. confused smiley
