Both venues probably have a few available dates to allow them to do an extra one or two gigs at the two venues, so why didn't they book more dates, given the demand for tickets and their unparalled greed?

Yeah, I just realized that I was playing the wrong game, I didnt win. DAMN IT!

The reason for only 4 shows is simple and a win-win for the band

1. Four shows is to see if they can actually do it with Keith. If for whatever reason they feel they cant do anymore, they went out as a live act with millions in their pockets for not much work.

2. If they do cut it live( which I think they will) they can set up shows for 2013

3. IF and When they announce 2013 shows, people will all bitch about the high prices of the current 4 shows. The stones know they cant charge these prices in any othr place for an extended run. At that time, they will justify the 2012 show prices by stating that it was not really a tour, but a special event aka: Birthday celebration. ( The stones clearly did not want to do an open press conference for these 4 shows and take questions from journalists. They would have ( and should be) rightfully ripped to shreds for screwing over their fans.

I love the stones, but there is no way I would ever pay these ticket prices. I could justify the $450.00 I paid for on the last tour, but anymore is just b.s. in an economy where my neighbors are out of work, and losing their homes to foreclosure.

Sad that this was such a great band that used to be about music and now we're mostly talking about ticket prices. Sigh.

why only four shows?...because four shows will perfectly cover the new yacht, mansion, rolls-royce, and racehorse Sir Mick wishes to purchase after the frenzied fleece-fest is over. That's why.
