The very first one I remember, Not Fade Away on Ready Steady Go, 1964, Don't believe it's available on youtube. My parents let me watch it on the next door neighbours TV, we didn't have one. I was hooked, little did my folks realise what they had unleashed in me....

Little Red Rooster - Ready Steady Go 1964. Immaculate performance. And the only time I can think of a blues song making No 1 in the UK singles charts.

re Gimme Shelter Pop Go The 60s
When i said in an earlier thread that i didnt like the album version of Gimme Shelter coz of the backing vocal this was the version i meant to praise. This one with Jagger singing live on his own knocks the let it bleed version clean into the gutter for me. Utterly brilliant. If only there was a similar You Cant Always Get What You Want without that stupid choir.
BTW my fave film of the stones is the Jumping Jack Flash promo with the make up and live vocal.

I like the 60s one where they are playing Satisfaction and Mick is doing that face slapping thing on the drum break.

Great call Green Lady. Can you believe I have never watched it all the way through? "I'm Alright" has got to be one of the best clips by them ever.
Keith shaking his head like that; his vocals very prominent. I loved seeing Jagger,Keith and BRIAN all up there singing. Excellent.
