sad to say, but speculation is less fun given that they're already chosen. Nothing we say or do will influence the choices for the releases.
Given that, it seems to me that the only era not covered so far is the Brian Jones era, so I'd love to see one representing those days. Then I think they'd want something later than 1990; but given that that was the template for the past twenty years or so it limits their options. So, perhaps the last two will be a compilation of a few shows from the Brian era; and a "double release" of El Macombo and the Light The Fuze show. That means they're really covered their career by adding to all these recent releases:
1969-71: Ya-yas re-release with extra tracks
1972/73 - Brussels Affair
1975/76 - LA Friday
1978 - Fort Worth release
1981- Hampton
1989/90 - Tokyo Dome
not to mention all the live albums released over the years...
That makes sense. Add in "Ladies And Gentlemen" (Texas 1972) and you can regard all the above phases as covered.
Still, I think that Leeds 1971, New York City/Philadelphia 1972, Paris 1976 and El Mocambo 1977 are important recordings. It would also be nice to have something from Europe 1970.
And what about stuff we have not heard yet, like 100 Club, London 1986?
That leaves the Brian Jones era, including the pre-fame years of 1962–1964.

I guess pictures from Paris tell it all - they are getting ready for a few conserts in London in November / December.

They're rehearsing 3 months in advance?
The reason they're in Paris is because they're spending a week recording a couple of new songs there.

I think the only doubt was what decade this was going to occur in.

why does it necessarily have to occur in any decade?

It doesn't. It might one of those 'it's the thought that counts' kind of doubts.
