Thanks Carlos! But do they really consider a "new compilation" as "big news"??? Big cash perhaps, but no news ... OK, they still have the bootlegs on rs-archive for those "real fans" .... very disappointing!

never released songs or a couple new ones recorded in their last
visit to the studio.
While new or never released songs would always be welcome, anything short of live performances can't truly be considered "big."

I dont feel any tension or anxiety at all. Who in their right mind gets that way about a band teasing you that at some point in the future they're going to make an announcement of some sort? It's nuts. You're no better off knowing now than you will be when they choose to tell you.
And Corriecas is right - there's a compilation due to come out in the next couple of months. How expansive it is I dont know, personally - although I'd like to believe there'll be more than just an updated version of 40 Licks. (ideal scenario for me would be to put out a proper '50 Licks' style compilation for the casual buyer (because theres a gap in the market for it) but also an EXPANDED version for the hardcore fan with new and/or unreleased material. Different options, different price levels.
There is something else in the works which is newsworthy but whether THAT will be the 'big news' they're referring to, time will tell. How 'big' it is depends on your individual expectations, I suppose.
Edit - that u-view app mentioned in the official teaser the Stones put out is related to Universal Music. Which would make me assume the 'big news' is related to a new product as opposed to a tour.

Yes - she's done quite a few interviews. There was a TV one a few years back in a programme called 'Rock Wives' which was very good. A few newspaper interviews too.
I believe you're right about a DVD 'hits' disc.

they will tour but Pierre Dupont will replaced Keith, Keith Urban will replace Ronnie, Anton Figg will replace Charlie and Mike Hucknall will replace Mick. Chuck Levell still runs the band though
