Nadal?

Re: Nada
Date: July 17, 2012 23:20

Nada...

Nadal means Christmas by the way...in some dialects spoken in Spain.

Nadar means to swim.

De nada means your welcome / not at all.

In the end.....nada....

(it seems last stones news do not fill our expectations...so to many OT posts....It is hard to accepting the fact of them being almost septuagenarians on average and talking about some shows...specially after hearing some 72 or 78 bootleg...)

This is too funny. I actually thought I was posting an addition onto the Peter Frampton/Stones thread, but somehow by accident started a whole new thread (my initial plan, but I thought I had closed that window). So I wiped out all the Frampton/Wyman info when I discovered my mistake and put up "Nada" instead, thinking this thread would then die a quick death. I'm reminded of Hemingway's short story A CLEAN, WELL-LIGHTED PLACE where a character recites the "Lord's Prayer" but replaces a buch of its words with "nada."

Well, I answered your new thread first and I'm so happy to have done it... if not NICOS wouldn't have post his "Confessin' the blues" vid, that's destiny I guess!

So nada means also "nothing" in Spanish but now it has a new meaning for me and it's "Nothing from nothing" is "hot as hell"!

Thanks guys!

What a beautiful short story.

Hemingway wrote such great short stories that I think his novels suffer by comparison. But...nada nada who cares nada...
