Tempesting indeed! His scedule is incredible for a man of 71 years, his voice has suffered from his excessive touring, but his concerts are fantastic. I am still feeling the thrill from the concert I attended two weeks ago. So my dear Americans, catch one of your greatest countrymen if you can!

It's much easier for one dude to write songs and make his band perform them for a new record than it is for a band of 4 guys to come together to record new tunes when their two primary songwriters are on opposite ends of the world, both georgraphically and musically speaking.

I saw that Mark Knopfler was coming to the Hollywood Bowl. I was excited and ready to get tickets when I learned he's apprearing as special guest to Bob Dylan. Oh well, I think I will pass.
