On wednesday, Nibali has to try something after the "col du grand Colombier" on the down side : very dangerous and may be wet if it rains.
On thirsday, the climb until La Toussuire is very favorable to Wiggins : 6% during 18kms.

today, French rider Rémy di Grégorio from Cofidis has been excluded from his team for being charged with dope dealing and medicine trading.
It's a very good decision.

The funny thing is that Di Gregorio was nicknamed "the new Virenque".
The copy is now very close to the original. grinning smiley

Hello,

As some wise-ass put it:

"If someone had been selling performance enhancing drugs to Cofidis, the police would be arresting conmen, not riders."

A couple of arrests in Marseilles too. The French police do take this sorta thing serious...ask Dave Millar.

Cheers,

Simon.

Thanks again Hansie for the scheme of the stage of today. It doesn't look very tough, but it are the cyclists who make a stage tough, they say. We'll see!

Hansie, I've been bowling yesterday with my strong, sportive daughter in a very high tempo. One hour long in full speed. My legs are hurting now, walking the stairs is some kind of torture and looking at a picture is so easy!

Besides, those guys can sit while they sport smiling smiley

I won 1 game, my daughter 3 or 4. All very close. But I had the most strikes, because I use effect and she is just a power house, having the most spares. Those tenpins were flying through the hall after she had thrown her ball, producing a terrible noise when she hit the tenpins. After that hour I was soaking wet and she was still cool. It was big fun.

Probably because of years of experience, but the images from French TV are the best to me, compared to any cycling race I know.

I'm afraid that the yellow jersey group is getting closer and closer and will get back to the top of the race

Great finish. Exciting until the last meters. Congratulations to Voeckler. No judgement from me about winning ugly. He was the smartest today. Being smart is also very important in cycling. He did good.

You mean she's left handed cool smiley

If I remember well, I posed for this one. All other pics weren't okay: too dark etc.

But well, there's also a little difference of age.

Strange to see how the winner of the stage of today hardly could walk!

But he did a great job. Hats of, regardless of his nationality (a Frenchman with a German name is great).

We're curious about tomorrow: the finish is on top of a mountain: 18 kilometers to climb. Hopefully the big boys make a great match out of it.

It surely does! Hopefully the big shots are doing their best today. I also hope Van Garderen does well: his father is an Amsterdammer and he speaks Dutch and seems a nice guy (like most of them). Well, the game is on!

Thanks for the scheme Hansie, very handy.

Yes, I saw the interview on Dutch TV yesterday. His Dutch was much better than I expected. Nice guy indeed.
