They just showed a Satisfaction clip at the ceremony. Soon after I said to my girlfriend "I'm surprised a Bowie clip hasn't been shown" to my dismay she replied "Don't be stupid he's from America!"
Fortunately, they did play a bit of Starman to settle the argument.

I thought Keith might light the olympic flame. I could picture him sauntering into the stadium with the torch held high, then lowering it to light up his cigarette just as he reaches the flame.
