Forgettable left-overs. And the blood guilt affair made me reluctant to listen to it again.

Sorry this record is just plain crap. The songs are lame the performances are lame, who's to blame? Herion is bad news and a brief listen to this record is all one needs to affirm that. Lights on , nobody home. Just my opinion of course. peace

wrong! without heroine there is not much good music - unfortunately they seem to go hand in hand, but to my benefit as a listener.

A junkie disaster.

Sure, Heroine can have a short positive influence (in most cases not) for some. But it will soon start to take its toll. You will end up dead or a bleak shadow of yourself. Or in John's case having a love affair with your teenage daughter. So pay, pack and follow can be an invitation to a junkie.

the stones were great songwriters and musicians before coke and heroin and all it did was f/ck things up and slow them down.

if you do it, it will not make you a great musician like mick and keith i promise.it will however, probably kill you.

Pretty good album, with a couple of great songs, and Mick Taylor plays a fantastic solo on Oh Virginia.

She's just 14 is great. The rest is merely so-so. And no wonder, regarding that Phillips was deep into heroin and the recording took years and years. Then all these famous on-and-off sidmen. And Mick's fling with Phillip's daughter. Quite a decadent scene...

He is. She used a line (no pun intended) from that song as the title of her book, High On Arrival.

It's only 23 years to the year 2000.. Does sound a bit dated now but I do like this album. Great guitar from Keith throughout.

It was best to have left this one unreleased.

A messy album, with a (very) few decent tunes, imo.

He did Let It Bleed cold turkey? winking smiley

You can add SG as well.

Aftermath and Their Satanic Majesties Request didn't turn out too bad without the hard drugs either...
