There are the obvious ones of course, but I beg for some attention to Dave Graham, hardly
ever mentioned,
not the flashy kind of guy, but a real fine player.

70s Bassists:

I can think of 3:

1. Jack Bruce
2. Jaco Pastorius (with Weather report, Joni Mitchell, and solo)
3. Michael Henderson (Miles Davis' electric bassist)

Wyman in 1978 was unsurpassable when it comes to swinging rock'n 'roll.

However, I've always had a soft spot for Ronnie Lane:

Nice to see Prakash John getting some love around here! He, along with Pentti "Whitey" Glan (one of my heroes), were a fantastic rhythm section. They were in a band called Bush together in the early 70s. I highly recommend their self-titled album!!

Great music but it's so strange to think than once upon a time in rock and roll "moustaches" were cool! Yeah, man whatever pleases the ladies.
