Every time I go to Las Vegas - usually to see the Stones - I walk trough the city and notice all the posters with names of "gone" stars from the 60's and 70's. Las Vegas is a museum. A time machine, where you can go and see the band and the performer you liked when you were young. Many years ago. Like we get some of the bands to Norway every summer. They play at summer festivals. Mungo Jerry. Mannfred Mann (they are actually still good!). Smokey (they are still very popular in Norway). Tony Bennett (I have seen him recently, part of a show with some real interesting performers), and so on. May be you can see Baccara and Alphaville and The Silver Beatles and who knows even Barry McGuire (he was actually one of my favorites late 60's). And now Rod Stwewart doing a zillion shows like Elton John and Celine Dion. I love Vegas!
