Interesting point about "was" versus "were"

For example - "Acceptance Criteria were met" versus "Acceptance Criteria was met"

The former is correct; However, the latter sounds better from a phonetical standpoint.

I am in agreement with "The place is empty" come bare your breasts line.....ruined a great song.


But the one that makes me cring is "Has anybody seen my baby".

At the time it was released as a single the local radio station DJ's spent an entire week ripping it apart word by word. "trying to hold on to that was just impossible" or "salty tears it's three in the afternoon"........And then to top it off they tried to do some kind of hip hop crossover with Biz Markie "Came to rock Brooklyn"..

When I hear it now I don't know weather to laugh or cry.....

I'm a girl and straight--but I'm with Title5Take1 on this. I always saw those lines as he did ('cept for picturing Patti's boobs ) But I'm surprised as many guys here would find it creepy. I mean, when you're 65...you'd still want some beautiful woman who you feel close to to take off her top and offer her breasts to you, don't you think? I mean, not even necessarily in a totally lusty horny respect, but as Title5Take1 sayd, "sensually warm-and-welcoming, not a prurient, way," no? It's a lovely image, methinks (I don't mean the guy being in his 60s, but I appreciate that Keith's that up front about it, and to me does not actually sound like a creep--sounds like he loves women, which he does)
