Chuck Berry. I'd go see him tomorrow. Yes, I know it would be awful but he's Chuck Berry.

The Eagles, Bob Seger, Paul Simon, The Beatles, The Ramons, Debra Harry and Blondi (Although I have seen her in the local supermarket since she lives in my neighborhood....does this count?....smiling smiley).....

I was lucky to be able to attend the "Live Aid" concert in Philly back in 85. I caught a lot of acts I would have most likely never seen otherwise.

I have not seen U2 or Green Day.... I suppose I should... someday... maybe.... I have pretty much seen everybody I ever wanted to, if they came close.... but the concert window is kind of closing for me.... I am not in the mood to pay several hundred dollars face value for balconey seats, to see anybody. I am addicted to being close, or I am not interested in spending my time. Back in the day I routinely, and happily, paid a couple of hundred Dollars to scalpers for front row (at least in first 10 rows) now they want hundreds of Dollars for all the seats... iphone that....

These days I am more likely just head out to a local bar and pay 5-20 bucks to see a great local(regional) band giving it its all.

While the haters will have their opinions, I can tell you that Green Day is one the The best live acts I seen in my 45 year of concert going.

Jeff Beck. David Gilmour (with or without PF) - too late for the latter, I think he's retired.

I see lots of Tom Waits mentions. By all means, if you get any chance to see this great artist, do it!

John Fogerty

Seems every time he comes to the UK he plays London and hardly anywhere else or is half way down the bill at a festival.

This year's Hyde Park Calling being another unfortunate example.

McCartney would be another one, I guess - although its not as if he plays near where I live. I HAVE actually seen him perform live, technically - when he guested on "A Day In The Life" with Neil Young at Hyde Park 3 years ago.

John Prine.

Jimmy Cliff - most definitely a sore point as I went to the Feis at Finsbury park last June expecting to see him only to find that they'd put him onstage at about 2 pm and I'd just missed him thanks to the chaotic lack of information the promoters had provided about start times.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

I've been able to finally cross a few off the bucket list in the last few years though - Ry Cooder, Emmylou Harris, Social Distortion

I saw the American Idiot play a few months ago. After seeing it, I think I would enjoy a GD show even though I'm not a huge fan or anything.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Man that one stung real bad ... miss read the date on ticket ...

Still laugh at how we thought we were so lucky to score a park out right out
front of Dallas Brooks Hall then walking to main doors and thinking we were first there ... dumb and dumber

I have heard that too, same with U2... People rave about about how great they are live... so... yup... I should probably see them live, I have seen about everyone else.

If I was to say..... one of my favorite live acts ever is Neil Young, I have seen him about 10-15 times and he never ceases to amaze me. With the exception of the Shocking Pinks tours, every time I saw him I was blown away... his range in unlike anyone elses....from his sweet "Mother Earth" to a raging "Day in life" he does it all.
