Yeah. Unless he's playing with a band - he's just noodling - playing a guitar for his own amusement.

Hi Luxurystones
What do you mean "ignoring the noodling subject/link a bit deliberately"
I'm new to this forum stuff - did I forget to check a box or something.

Reading this thread made think of Focus, a dutch band, which had a certain Drummerboy in the 70's. Had a look at YouTube toay and came across a Danisch TVshow from 75 uploaded by Jan Akkerman (ex-Focus guitarist) himself in january 2014.
Not my kind of music as a Rolling Stones believer, but still interesting as a music loving dutchman.
Thanks Drummerboy.

Dear Dutchman -OutofTime.
My reply's will be done in sequence otherwise I'll get lost.
Yes I did indeed play with Focus for a year and a half. Understand it's not your kind of music. As a musician trying to make a buck I played with whatever band came my way as long as I thought I'd find "SATISFACTION". At the time Focus were enjoying much success so it seemed like something to be involved in. I thought Akkerman to be a great guitarist & I enjoy music that employs beautiful chords changes so although having previously played in blues, R & B type bands I thought I'd give Focus a go. The tension between Thijs & Jan that eventually caused the band to imploded was always present but didn't really have too much of an impact on me. We were constantly touring so there was much other stuff to contend with. I also came across the Danish TV. video that Jan posted. The fact that he had intentionally called it "Focus with Colin" was interesting because he was the reason I got kicked out of the band. Perhaps he had finally realized that my input wasn't so bad after all. Although it's not your type of music as a Dutchman you should be proud of them. As far as that type of music goes they are held in high esteem. Tot ziens.
