It's in 5/4 of course. It is GREAT when someone comes up with a bit that is in an odd time sig., yet flows very naturally. Another such song is "Everything's Alright" from J.C. Superstar - very hummable and melodic; you can even sway to it, but it's in 5/4.

Ah, Palace, you mentioned one of my absolute favorite 5/4 tunes!! I've always thought a bit of "everything's Alright" would sound great woven into Take 5 (My band does Take 5 every now and then)... I feel like there is a cool old Traffic tune in 5/4 as well... I can't think of it, though. Anyway, Brubeck's 'Time Out' album is a must have for studying time signatures!
