Send It To me
The fact that Don Was was there with Mick could be evidence that a record is being made.
Or it could easily be said to be nothing.
Thoughts?

I think he was just there to make sure Mick was routine and living up to the new characterless standard he's invented for the Stones
Its all business

Don Was at the White House? It depends what the meaning of "Was" is.

I think Keith has also felt Don Was to be a good enough producer for the Stones, too. He wasn't scathing about him in Life.
I think Don Was gets a bad press, but I happen to like Was (Not Was) and Orquestra Was too.
I also appreciate Don Was producing Bonnie Raitt's Nick of Time, which was a fine come-back album after years in the doldrums.
I didn't like Under The Red Sky, apart from 3 tracks on it, but, at the time, I felt the production to be a thin gruel after the excellent Oh Mercy. 22 years later, I think it is a good Dylan album, not a great one though.
I happened to like, however, Voodoo Lounge, and still do. I know it gets pilloried, but, to me, it's a good album.

Don Was can't polish the turd that was Streets of Love...or the crappy lyrics like
Everybody's talking
Showing up their wits
The moon is yellow but I'm like jello
Staring down your tits

Well then, what happens to all those songs Mick has written over the last five years? Solo albums?

Wrong, they famously clashed at the VL sessions, with Was *not* taking it in the direction Jagger wanted.

No: GR, the worst Dylan album ever was Knocked Out Loaded.
The second worst was Empire Burlesque.
