This video was posted on the Archive today (for Valentines Day) of Loving Cup. It's an obvious lip sync but I still hadn't seen it before. Does anyone know if they intentionally made a promo film for Exile? I certainly don't remember one.
Taylor is in sync-trouble from 2:02 - he forgot to stop playing rhythm He and Keith laugh about it, this video is big fun to watch.

Is he playing on the track at all on the album? Don't think so.
He probably forgot that, too

Wiki also neglects to mention that the song was played at Hyde Park in 1969.

Was it called "Gimmie A Little Drink" at the time?

Sure it's great, but with Taylor on it the song might even be better. I never heard the live performances. I'am afraid they are worse though: acoustic amplification for bigger venues was not very well developed in the early 7-tees.

All electric. Taylor does a couple of licks round 2:20 and after 3:00, but I don't know if he improves this take on it.

He might be on it and if he is, then kudos to him for having the musical mind to sit back and let the song be the focus and not some unnecessary guitar solo or whatever.

Some songs need em, others don't, Loving Cup is all the better for not having one.

flute solo's, for example, are sometimes much more appropriate though.

Nice music. The flute is your first instrument I guess?
