Let's start another useless thread, shall we? Post here photos of the Stones members from the period they had either the shortest or the longest hair.

Here's Charlie from 1969

I'm not saying it was his longest ever, but Mick had pretty long hair during parts of the Voodoo Lounge era.

charlie's shortest the cover of black and blue?

mick's longest would probably be hyde park (NOT a wig) or maybe at times
during the 75 tour.

mick's shortest might be when he just got his hair cut for the steel wheels
tour, i think right at the beginning of that tour.

I think MJ's was longer during 1986...think of the One Hit To The Body video

As a band the Stones might have been their hairiest @ R&R Circus.
The funny 78 ;pic of Ronnie and Mick is almost scary. Ronnie looks very skinny.

smile: is this like "the Stones whose collective ages add up to 38 squillion and are still going strong"?
i'd say their collective hair length was longest in the first few months of 1969, while recording Let It Bleed

Jagger's hair has been at the same medium length for years now. I think Voodoo was the last time he had it long.
I liked the whole Voodoo look

mick's shortest hair seems to be 1973! he wore it very short in australia and at the end of the european tour!

mick's longest hair is either 1976 or this:

Their collective length got longer when they replaced Brian with the mop-topped Mick Taylor. I'd say it was at the longest around Hyde Park in June? Then Mick and Keith (and Mick T?) cut their coifs before the American tour.

When Mick and Brian sported beards in early '68 they certainly added to the collective amount of hair.

Mick (J) seems to have cut his hair before that press conference

- june 13th 1969 (don't know who took it, sorry!)

so maybe the collective hair length reached a zenith just before that?
may 24th, maybe ... alas, we'll probably never know - yet another historical detail lost in the mists

- sometime after may 24th 1969 (don't know who took it, sorry)

But what can a poor boy do, except to start some useless thread, cause in sleepy Stones environment there’s just no place for world touring fan ... ?

Didn't Mick Jagger cut his hair pretty short (at least compared to the other Stones at that time) in 1969 while filming Ned Kelly?

Is it known from which photo session this one has been? And have there been pics from the others as well?

Taylor didn't meet and play with them till end of May. The hastily arranged photo session with Taylor not taking place until after Brian had officially left the band on 9th June.

timeisonourside says that photo session took place on 12th June 1969. It's not by Ethan Russell?
