Doxa needs some support here so i'll just say as usual he/she is spot on..The worst Stones song ever is ..."Juiced" and the only positive thing you can say about B2B is that it's slightly better than the steaming pile of turd that is "Voodoo Lounge".
Stones ended in '82 people.

This album is the last album that I really loved by the Stones as a band or solo artists (compelling arguments can be made to consider the album from either perspective). There have been individual songs that I've enjoyed since, but after the nineties, their studio work was in serious decline.

I'm relatively new to the Stones party (fan for 35 plus years - always liked them but grew to LOVE them over the last few years)...that said, I have to agree w/ WilliamPatrick - I think as we grow older - like or not - the idea of "cherry picking" songs from albums becomes more prevalent...that said, the tracks on BTB aren't that bad - I agree with D. - "Juiced" sucks - no pun intended...however, after I listened to it about 30X, I started to accept it as a necessary evil as a bridge to get to the good stuff.

I try to explain "album rock" to my 14 year old "i-tunes' child - she looks at me like I've got two heads. 'Though she's listened to enough Stones, Beatles, Neil, and a lot of other stuff to get a small understanding of what I'm talking about...

I think this is the last Keith ballad I liked. I LOVE Thru and Thru - one of my favourite Keith tracks of all time, definitely one of the best from VL.

Excellent song
Excellent and very lyrical musical intro; the end is wonderful; the whole song is marvellous. On eof the best songs they have ever composed and play ( along wityh coming down again, alla about you, thru & thru)
The B2B album was a little dissapointing work for me, too eclectic, no real connections between songs, some real gems , some overproduced tunes,..........
Butmaybe, the good songs are the best RS's songs from the last years.
As an album, i prerer VL and ABB

How Can I Stop is up there in my favorite top 5 list of Stones songs.

It's fantastically arranged, produced, performed and crafted.

The long jam in the ending is pure perfection.

So sad, so beautiful, so awesome!

Apart from Infamy (which I liked myself), which Keith song hasn't been a great ending to a Stones album anyway?

All About You
Sleep Tonight
Slipping Away
Thru And Thru (for the VL-albums without the bonus track Mean Disposition)
How Can I Stop

Of course you left out the phrase "or solo" to better manipulate your joke, Tod. And yes, it's true I didn't love GODDESS IN THE DOORWAY, FOUR NEW LICKS, ALFIE, A BIGGER BANG, Charmed Life, EXILE RARITIES, SUPERHEAVY, SOME GIRLS DELUXE, or Mick's two tracks with Will I. Am. There are individual songs in that lot that I liked quite a lot, but entire discs? No.

bv frowns on unnecessary use of capital letters, you know. not saying i'm going to report you at the this point, but i'll be counting your capital letters going forward and if and when it reaches a capital offense...well, you know the penalty for capital crimes....

How can you stop me from taking a bathroom break?

Play something that works if I'm not in the first ten rows.

Seriously, I hope Keith can be happy without there being a Rolling Stones.

He's the inventor of the music as far as I'm concerned. Chuck Berry and
the others are mere precursors, Mick Jagger and the others mere contributors.

Keith gave us his all. God bless him.
