Sway, in view of the way Mick - and to a certain extent the RS - have spent their entire career exploiting and marketing their sexuality, I do not think it is at all inappropriate to discuss them in that context on a RS forum.

I didn't provide details or get into anything graphic....I think my comments were appropriate. Bliss is right, the Stones = sexuality, especially Mick. I don't think he'd mind my compliments!

I don't believe it. Keith was a junkie for ten years, and he himself said when your on heroin "you don't need women."

well, it does mean something close to those terms (although a slut is more likely to be an amateur -
someone who does it for fun and/or "for the glory" , not someone who does it for money)

it isn't polite to call someone a slut, any more than it's polite to call someone a louse (for example),
but the "not-niceness" isn't because it's a "dirty word" - it's just a judgemental term
that happens to be about someone's sexual behaviour.

You are right, with sssoul. It's a pejorative to be correct. It can be derogative depending on the context. Like bitch or tramp. I think it's often perceived as a four-letter word though. Which it literally is! Confused?
