12th January 2018: 55th Anniversary of the day that Charlie Watts officially joined The Rolling Stones with a gig at the Ealing Jazz Club (London, UK).
When the Rolling Stones surfaced in 1963/1964 Charlie and Bill were the best possible backbone a young band could wish for! They were sooooooo much better than the backbones of all the other young bands that surfaced in those days (and that's an understatement). A solid rhythm machine, the best locomotive around. Brian and Keith knew what they wanted. And Mick, he was the luckiest frontman in the world. Congratulations Charlie!
