Great news! Keith is so happy and proud talking about the band.
They just have to tour one more time, it's got to be done and they know it smiling smiley

I have to say that the clip of Keith speaking is GREAT. It's so good to hear him talking about Jagger, Wyman, Taylor is a most positive, proud way.
I am hearing more and more material that seems new. Jagger himself seemed a bit confused about which show exactly was used. It might be a pastiche.

What format are the downloaded files for Android?

If you live in the US, but DON"T HAVE an Android device, can't you download the files and then convert them to another format?

Google Music stores all of your music online so that you can save space on your computers and mobile devices and easily access your collection from anywhere you want to listen.

Ways to listen

    * On the web - Go to Google Music (http://music.google.com) in your web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer 7 and above). Log in with your Google Account to access your music library.
    * On your Android device - You will need the latest version of the Google Music app to play your music library. Download it here and install it on your phone or tablet. Make sure to log in with the same Google Account you used for purchasing music on Android Market.
    * On your i-Phone or i-Pad - You can use your mobile web browser to access Google Music (http://music.google.com). This experience has been optimized for mobile playback.

Downloading music

    * Listening to your Google Music library on the web or your Android device does not require syncing or download, but you do have the ability to easily save your purchased MP3 files to your computer, burn them to a CD, archive them on your hard drive, and so forth -- so long as it’s for your own personal, non-commercial use.
    * Burn to a CD, make legal copies, or archive on your hard drive.
    * On your computer - Please click here for detailed instructions.
    * On your device - Please click here for detailed instructions on saving music to your Android phone or tablet for offline playback.

Download your music

Any song you download will be formatted as a 320kbps mp3 file.
Save songs from music.google.com to your computer
You can download all songs in the Free and Purchased playlist, one at a time.

   1. Navigate to your 'Free and purchased' playlist
   2. Hover over the song you'd like to download
   3. Click the down arrow to the right of the song title
   4. Select 'Save to computer'

You can only download each purchased track from the web 2 times.

Save songs to your computer using the Music Manager
Music Manager allows you to download all of your purchased tracks and place them in the folder you specify. Once you’ve downloaded all of your purchased tracks, you will see a checkbox with an option to download everything since that download or to download all tracks again.

Schillid,

Thank you for this information, I don't think I'm alone here in wanting to understand how to DOWNLOAD this stuff for OFFLINE use. That's the one aspect of all this that I hate, this business of all the music not being stored on your device locally, but being on some friggin' Google server. So if it is possible to download and save it on a local drive or device, brilliant !!

this is really Christmas. I need nothing else now.
What would be great is to wait for the rest of world Google app availability and other format releases (can I hope a VINYL ?) and buy them.
I understand that there was a Universal/Google deal. Hope some great releases.

320 mp3 is not that bad. It was announced to fight Itunes 256. Good for our ears. I ma ready to pay more for Lossless and Master files. The choice is what we want.

Great news all 'round. And if its a mix of both Brussels shows, even better. Especially as theyve kept what is for me the single greatest Stones live performance ever in (Midnight Rambler from the 1st show).

For all the flak (or should it be 'FLAC' ?) theyve got over the years about not releasing archive material, this is a really exciting development. And extremely well priced as well.

Hopefully this will be available worldwide very very soon.

Nice one, Stones. Credit where its due. thumbs up

Wow, they released the SFM version with Taylor's only screw-up solo during his time with the Stones! Is ADTL the version where Richards stops playing halfway?

The latter. Definitely. I doubt there's the demand for CD/vinyl issues of 5-6 Stones archive concerts a year. Makes no sense, economically, especially in an area where the arse has dropped out of the industry.

Internet distribution is cheaper and keeps overheads down. MP3 players are ubiquitous now so it makes sense not bothering with CDs. You can always burn the MP3 files to a CD if that's the format you prefer.

Here is another one thinking exactly the same. For a moment I was worried if it wasn't that version (even though I haven't heard the other version - but it cannot be any better).

You're not. I didn't find downloading very intuitive. There's an arrow head next to the song titles. If you click it it will give you a list of options, downloading to your computer being one near the bottom.

You can also download Google Music Manager and install it. You can set that up to automatically download any tracks you purchase. You can find it under the "Upload" music tab.

If I remember correctly, that was a pretty weak show...
