thanks, and you can also hear Claudine which Ronnie played on his show with Alice Cooper. I dont know the link, but its at about the 50 minute mark. Sounds almost completely untouched.

Thank you very much for sharing! Terrible reviews. This and "Do You Think I Really Care?" are my early favorites.

sounds great! I was always partial to the faster, less developed take of the song but I really like what they've done with this version.

An average tune at best, but it's still a thrill to hear those Some Girls guitars on a new cut.

Finally in perfect sound...one of the tunes
that HAD to be on a SG double album in 1978.

Great! thumbs up

Mick does a good job on the overdub, imo.

"The stripped down pop-rocker, much like ‘No Spare Parts,’ the first song released from this collection, was recorded without vocals over three decades ago, with Mick Jagger recently going back in studio to tie up loose ends for this project".

Although there were vocals on the original take, it's easy to spot the difference between Mick's 2011-vocals and this, don't you think?

Ah yes, but there is another version that is the same as the newly released version. I've got it on a bootleg called Made in the Shade which has some the best outtakes from those sessions. It's called I Cant Help It on there though. Not on Youtube last time i looked though.

More like old Mick doing an impression of young Mick doing an inpression of Old Mick. Definitely 2011 vocals in my ears.

Yep, I'd found 4 versions I think, let's see...here you go : [stones.servebeer.com]

The released one is the fourth version that first appeared on OBR's Paris Results II in 1993. If memory serves the instrumental version had similar guitars and was on "Twilight Zone", which makes me realize I haven't listened to that good boot in years.

The one on YouTube is version I in my table.

Bad in so far that my sinuses are clogged up and there's an annoying ring in my ears spinning smiley sticking its tongue out But no way those are '77 vocals.

Btw, anyone think Keiths backing vocals sound a bit weird? Too constant instead of the occasional howl, just like in Plundered My Soul.

Greg, just compare it to version IV on Paris Results II.

I can't possible understand that somebody would confuse 1977 vocals with 2011 vocals.

Looks like Mick did a great job here, if he did 2011 overdubs. To me, it sounds 2011, but I'll have to check on my Paris bootlegs to see if it's 1977 vocals as claimed here in this thread.

IF Jagger did new vocals here; he deserves an Oscar....no a Grammy - heck he deserves the Nobels peace price!
Because this is absolutely perfect. (haven't compared to the bootleg version, myself yet....but I see no reason to do so either - it's a perfect match (in my memory) )

Great job indeed, but the 'snigger and sneer ... cry in my beer' part is such a giveaway...
