They have since fixed their error in that email, sending out a new updated tracklist:

Would've been nice if they gave us all the original/untouched versions in addition to the 2011 versions but that would be too thoughtful for them to do.

can anyone explain to me why it's the Maple Leafs and not the Maple Leaves?

The same reason they say X Y ZED and not X Y ZEE. They're Canadian.

Named after the Maple Leaf Regiment, who were elite Canadian soldiers during World War 1. They were referred to as the Leafs. It's a proper name, like if it was an actual last name, you would say the Leafs, not the Leaves.

Terrible. Just heard for the first time on Toronto radio. The song is a joke.

Hey, I'm in your fair city tonight! Glad it stopped raining.

But you are wrong my friend...this song rocks! I mean, countries!

I hope you're not there to see the Maple Leafs Anyways..... The song songs like something from Hee Haw. Only a bassett hound would like it. Very childish and amaturish sounding.

no, not the leafs, I was in TO on bidness....and No Spare Parts (2011) isn't very childish and amaturish sounding, nor like a bassett hound or something from hee haw....YOU ARE/DO!

HA HA! Yeah! Although I think I actually like the keeves. That might make a good band name - if people got that it's after Keith and not that actor guy.

For whatever it's worth, I've listened to this track enough times that I now have a clear sense of my opinion about it. The guitars are beautiful, but Jagger's vocals are too up-front and he is trying too hard.

I know others have made these comments already, but now it's official in my book! >grinning smiley<
