Does anyone have any photographs and/or any information on the black pants that Mick Jagger wore on the 1969 US tour? I would like to try to sew a replica. Thanks.

LOL. I wish I could sew a pair for every person on here who wants a pair. But first I need to make one and for that I need to know a few things:

How many conchos and were they plain, what material, bell bottoms, etc.

I had made me a pair like that in fall 1969. But inspired by Keith at Hyde Park
with these bigger conchos. Man, I felt really great wearing them.
30 waist, 36 inseam back then.
Now it's 32/34.Seams I shrinked a bit over the last 42 years.

Button down all the way ?

Those things are labor-intensive to put on, much less to sew !

Was lucky. My sister did that for me.

It never fails, as your waist size gets bigger your inseam size gets shorter!!

If you 'bust a button' they might fall down...

No, I am making a pair for my brother. He is a Stones fanatic, especially of the music from the late 1960s & early 1970s.

No way I will finish them in time for THIS Halloween anyway. Maybe next year?

BTW, thank you, Rockman, for the great photos. They are very helpful.

after you're done with this...stitch up some of his '78 tour britches...your brother will appreciate all the extra crotch room...
