Speaking of sham...have Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs been inducted yet?
and I don't have the actual stats, but didn't Woolly Bully outsell Satisfaction in 1965? I've heard or read that somewhere. I don't think it went to number one but it move a lot of units.
I looked but could not find what I would call a "quotable source".
I wonder what is a "GO TO" accurate, free, online source for record sales?
I was kind of surprised at how big the Beatles were in 1965.... man.
I think Satisfaction outsold all Beatles singles though, even Yesterday, for that year anyway. Yes, it would be good to have a good online resource.

Well sure it..... and you know why too.
These are the only who should be in there...........they add all something new to the POP/Rock music..........you don't need to be in The Hall Of Fame if you made a few good records

but then it would be the rock and roll hall and not the rock and roll hall of fame..
every artist on ther is famous, influenced a ton of people and sold millions

I bet 'Stiff Little Fingers' and 'Sham 69' and 'Exploited' is bands that are NOT in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...these 3 bands used to ROCK so why would they be inducted...
