Sheepdogs from Canada are a good band, lots of potential there, pretty good for a bunch of hicks from Saskabush. 'course they won the Rolling Stone magazine contest, signed with Atlantic but still drive around in a hippie van

The delta blues got electrified in my hometown Chicago. So I put forward two unbeatable bands, The Stones and Led Zeppelin. Since technically these two supreme bands are English, and their music technically American, I guess it is a draw in this silly contest.

I'm from New Jersey, home of Frank Sinatra, the Chairman of the Board, and Bruce Springsteen, the Boss. While both were solo performers, they've fronted some pretty top shelf backing band/orchestras (the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, the Count Basie Orchestra, the E Street Band, etc.). They also know a little something about working a room.
For 33 years, I've lived in DC. The DC metro area is home of Marvin Gaye, Danny Gatton, Roberta Flack, Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers, Nils Lofgren, Roy Buchanan, Patsy Cline, Minor Threat, Fugazi, etc.
