Hi,

What's the deal with the ABKCO Youtube songs - there are quite a few of them, some live, some unlistenable, but I have never heard these versions of Mother's Little Helper and 19th Nervous Breakdown before in this quality

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Great !

Have they just popped up? In that case is there some backdating going on with the 12/28/2016 date and so few "views" ?

I don't recognize the voice on "Dandilion" (did they really mean to spell it that way ?) [www.youtube.com] not Mick, doesn't really sound like Keith either, Wyman ? ;-)

i came across an outtake which claims to be from the satanic sessions called gold plaited fingernails. it sounds great after a few beers, a mix between blues and psychadelia.

not even sure if its the stones now, has anyone seen it.

My vote for the vocals on Dandilion (sic) would be Keith.

But, let's be honest, some of these recordings are dreadful.

Has to be yeah, that voice had potential, like the one on "Soul Survivor" in the rereleased Exile. I remember reading an interview somewhere where the guy (musician) said that had Keith worked on his voice he could have become a singer in his own right. I remember finding that a bit strange given Keith's "post-1981" live singing, but he may have had a point...

Very strange "release" from Abkco of those 1966 tracks... some live tracks are unlistenable, not really official quality!
Hopefully we'll see more 1967 "Copyright Preservation" releases for 2017...

That's what I thought. Also, ABKCO already has YouTube channel, [www.youtube.com], do we think this is a legit channel?

Will Aftermath and Out Of Our Heads get the Deluxe-treatment? It looks that way.

Weird, very weird stuff. Where's the rest of the 1966 releases "for copyright preservation release"? And the whole of 1963, 1964 and 1965? Why Dylan and the Beatles made it and the Stones doesn't?

These songs are songs recorded in 1965 and 1966.

They just pretend to be working on them to maintain the copyright (50 years, December 2016 for Aftermath...)?

Interesting!
I haven´t had time to listen to all of these yet...
Are there any more studio tracks apart from Mother´s Little Helper, 19th Nervous Breakdown and Sometimes Happy, Sometimes Blue (Dandilion)?
