How did L&G do at the box office?
Not worth a damn in New Orleans.
I had unlimited leg & elbow room.

This is great - finally starting to give the fans what they want. I can't wait! And could an official 72/73 live document be far off...?

....and for the first time; we'll get to hear the 5 minutes of "Miss You" that has always been missing from the Fort Worth SBD recording
I think Scottkeef on this board attended this Fort Worth show, btw - maybe he'll spot himself in the footage

De legendariske The Rolling Stones' koncert fra 1978, 'Some Girls, Live in Texas', har aldrig tidligere været offentliggjort. Nu er koncerten blevet remastered og den åbner med et 20 minutters interview med Sir Mick Jagger filmen i August 2011.
Kent?
Is it opened with a 20 minute interview?

thanks & praises Rolling Stones! mine's ordered :E
i'm probably undercaffeinated, but: does it says somewhere that the dvd and/or cd are more complete than the stuff in circulation?
i see the footage has been restored and the sound's been spiffed up, but does that mean either is more complete, longer etc?
i'm not complaining, mind you - just asking!

Well, hearing is believing in this case. The multitracks only have this incomplete version - wonder what they will splice in. However, it's possible that they have a separate line feed of the complete Miss You, but one would hear the difference.

Lies was only performed at 19 of the 25 shows 1978 - and they skipped it in Fort Worth

Thanks. Probably due to the band's lack of energy, as mentioned clearly by Mick early on in the show

great news, really, , the entire show, I enjoy. hope one day something on the knebworth
I don't think all of Knebworth was actually filmed. Would be nice to have official DVDs representing other 70s tours though.
